Update :)

Greetings children of God!! I wanted to give all of you an update on myself and the ministry.

Most of you know that Frank passed away very quickly in November of last year. We were all shocked and deeply affected by his passing. For myself it was like my heart was ripped out and put down the garbage disposal and put back inside just a pile of mush. I was waiting for direction from the Lord.

Isaiah 30:21 NKJV

[21] Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.

The Lord quickly gave me a new plan as how to carry on. I had a list of things I would need in order to continue in Mexico. The Lord provided all of those things for us. We have an amazing team down here in Mexico that we have been working with for the past ten years. This ministry has been here in Mexico since the 80s. Ron Graves began this ministry with his beautiful wife Sharon. Frank and myself came onto the picture in 2014. I started coming down in 2013 with Papa Ron. The ministry is the legacy of Ron and Sharon and now Frank. Frank and I started our own non profit in 2023 in order to meet the demands of the growing interest in helping us with this mission, to advance God's Kingdom in Mexico. My role will change a bit. I will spend more time in the states fundraising and doing administrative duties. With half time in the states and half time in Mexico. My kids made a space for me in Oregon, my daughter and son in law and soon to be 5 grandkids.  So I will be back and forth. In addition I will be in Bishop more. Our beloved Papa Ron is 86 now and I would love to spend more time with him plus I have such an amazing support group there. Praise the Lord :)

Emotionally it is a wave. Sometimes up and sometimes down and always wet. Lol lots of tears. But always stay connected to the vine :).

John 15:5 NKJV

[5] “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

I have found that no matter where I am at, meaning what location I am at. I have peace. My peace comes from the source Papa God and it is not dependent on location. Praise the Lord. Someone asked me about long term plans. I have no long term planes this is where I am at and all the planes I have made are subject to change depending on what the Lord has in store for me. I make the plans but the Lord determines the out come.

I am currently back in Mexico. The ministry is doing great down here. Everyone has a part in this and all of them are stepping up to fill the void.

One of the main focuses is the school program just added 3 new students we are at a total of 19 youth that are being sponsored for education. Elementary school to university. PTL :)

Angel

Raul

Both these boys will be attending trade school.

The food bags for the elderly and disabled are up to 40 bags a month now. We started with 7 a month. Thank you Lord for abundant provision.

The shower project with Brother Jonathon is doing great. Thank you to those who sowed into that.

We currently have two on going projects. The first is a new detox room for the mens rehab we work with in La Rumarosa. They had a tiny trailer for their new guys coming into detox. We were blessed to be able to help them with a new bigger warmer room.

We are going to visit them tomorrow so we can see the progress.

The second project is a second story for the ministry church in Ojo de Agua.

We are continuing to go to the landfill and pray for the people and hand out food and water.

We have been able to begin a prison ministry by a sad chain of events. The husband of our dear friend and sister in Christ has been wrongfully imprisoned in the prison here in El Hongo. We dont know how long it will take to clear his name. She started a Sunday church service in the prison. We have been able to bless them with bibles, blankets and art supplies. She says they are forever grateful to have a pencil, paper and bibles.

There are many more details to share with all of you and I will send another update out soon. For now I am blessed to share these things with all of you. We will continue to move forward to advance God's Kimgdom here on Earth both in the states and in Mexico. I see myself as a bridge who can bring awareness to the needs here in Mexico. I am honored to be able to be in both places and to carry on with the ministry the Lord has given us. Thank you to all who pray for and support us.

Much love in Christ - Deborah and the team in Mexico 🌻

School support 2024

 Greetings children of God :)
We are blessed to be able to share with you the list of youth who are currently in the school program for 2024/2025.
John 15:9 NKJV
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love."
This ministry is a labor of love. We are so honored to be able to sow into the lives of these youth. We thank all of you who pray for and support the dreams of these youth and their families. As we abide in the Love of Christ we are able to freely give to those in need. To help others to fulfill their dreams. I feel in my heart that these youth will be able to say God sees me and loves me because He has touched the hearts of these people to help us with our educations. As we provide for needs in a tangible way in the name of Jesus it is just one way we can express His Love to those around us. God sees me and loves me.
We currently have 14 youth in the school program. We are always open to taking new students as the Lord places them in our path.
Isaac
Isaac is in the 6th grade, he received the highest grade in the whole school. He received all 10's which is like straight A's in all his classes the whole school year. He received a special recognition from the school. He is involved with our English classes/youth group.
Esmeralda
Esmeralda is in the 2nd year of Junior high school, junior high is 3 years here. She wants to be a teacher. She is also involved with the English class/youth group.
Angel
This is Angel who is also in the 2nd year of junior high school and also involved with the English class/youth group.
Luz
This is Luz she is just starting junior high school, this will be her 1st year. She is also involved in the English class/youth group.
Rosario
This is Rosario she is in high school and she wants to work with computers when she graduates. She is also involved with the English class/youth group.
April
This is April she is in the 5th grade. She is new this year to the school program. Her Mom is a single Mom and has 3 daughters one of whom is disabled and in a wheelchair. We are blessed to be able to help.
Emily
This is Emily she is in junior high school, April is her younger sister. She is new to the program this year also.
Isabel and Estrella
These girls are sisters and they are the daughters of Pastor Miqueas. He is the Pastor of the ministry church in Ojo de Agua. Isabel is in junior high and Estrella is in high school. They also both play in the worship band.  There is a story behind Estrella's sponsor, Estrella is in high school was costs more.  I was in Bishop having coffee with my friend Teri and before I went in I had asked God to help us find sponsors for the school program. Teri shouted out to her friend Rosie who was leaving and on the phone. I asked Rosie for a recipe because she is the new owner of a mexican restaurant in Bishop. I said don't worry I won't share it because I live in Mexico. She said "your the lady from Mexico I saw you at church. She said I want to help." I said great I have a youth who needs sponsorship, lol its was a divine appointment. Thank you Teri and Rosie.
Jeremy
Jeremy is at the University studying law. He is also in the worship band at the ministry church in Ojo de Agua with the girls.
Areli
This is Areli and she is in junior high school. She and her parents and her younger sister all go to the ministry church in Ojo de Agua.

Fernanda
This is Fernanda she lives close to us and is in open school, she is 22 years old. She missed a lot of school due to a medical condition so she is in open school so she can catch up. It's kind of like a GED.  She is receiving monthly help from a couple who donates to help people and families in need. She uses her support to help with her meds and also with her education.
That wraps up our current list but as I said we are always open to adding new youth as the Lord brings them to us. I also have an idea to start a pen pal program between the youth in the states and the youth in Mexico. If any of you know youth that would be interested in writing letters let me know. Please  continue to pray for these youth and all the other ministries that we are a part of. Food program, landfill outreaches, house of restoration, medical needs, auto repair and also sowing into other peoples ministries as the Lord leads us. We are one body of believers with Christ as the head. God is Love :)
Thank you,
Shalom - Frank and Deborah

Happy Birthday Jesus and Frank 💖

 Greetings children of God!

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

John 17:20‭-‬23 NKJV  Amen!

So that the world will know that we are ONE. One in Christ! That when they see us they see Christ in us. Not of our own works. We must be about our Father's business. Amen! Our Father God :)

We were blessed to be able celebrate another year of life for my husband Frank with the group on Friday.

Happy Birthday Frank

Dee and Ron and their Pastor from Oregon came down to help us and celebrate. Dee lead the kids in a craft. She got these giant pine cones from her travels in Canada. It was lots of fun for the youth.

Luz

Luz, Esmeralda & Melisa

Ruben from Nevada came down along with Donna, Susan, Margie and Sherry from Bishop Ca. We were blessed to have their help and also the fellowship. Saturday was the Christmas event. We had approximately 130 people attend. The event went really well. We served an authentic Australian meal. The sausage sizzle was back again. Raul helped us cook the food. It was the sausage on a piece of white bread with ketchup and grilled onions. It is so simple that is delicious. Thank you Rain for help with the salads and Lupe for help with the drinks. All were happy with the food. Ernesto and Elena brought the homemade donuts 300. Yay!

Ernesto & Elena

Raul

Pastor Martin Osuna shared the message. Rosario, Luz & Esmeralda  from the youth group sang and people from the group worshipped the Lord with flags also Rodrigo helped us with the sound equipment.

We love being able to bring the body of Christ together in one place. We invited many different churches in our community. It definitely was a team effort. Jose from the men's house along with ladies from team Mexico plus the youth all helped with decorations.

Jose

Last but not least were the candy bags, beanies, gloves, scarves, socks, and warm blankets. The guys from Lolo's and Gustavo's sober living programs helped with the parking lot and the bouncy house. All of the team helped with clean up. We also had our dentist that showed up dressed like the Grinch to help hand out the candy. Praise report, is that the lady who runs the facility we rented just came to the Lord. We have been so blessed by the Lord. So many people involved and so many lives touched by His love.

Sunday we took the group to Pastor Mere's church here in Cerro Azul. After that we headed out to the landfill to hand out the 200 PB&J sandwiches we made along with blankets and beanies and We also had a generous donation of 200 hygine kits.  Plus the most important part we got to pray for the people.

People actually ask us for prayer now when we come into the landfill.

Thank you to all who pray for and support us. Also thank you to those who come down to help us. Thank you team Mexico for your continued help and support and for all of your hearts. To love them as Jesus loves us. God is Love 💞✝️
