"Find your own Calcutta"

Greetings sons and daughters of God!!
First off I would like to share a story with you, it went more or less like this. A man sent a letter to Mother Teresa and asked her what the secret of her passion was for Calcutta. It was stated that he waited a long time for a reply and when it finally arrived he was so excited and when he opened the letter there was only one sentence on the page and it read "find your own Calcutta". Wow so powerful, find what makes your own heart sing, filled with joy always and forever. Not the easiest thing to do but the most rewarding to give of yourself to others that you know will never be able to repay you. But little do they know all we require is a hug from them or just a smile. The Love of God can never be repaid. It was and always will be a free gift to those who believe.  We must get up and take action to help the lost and the lonely and the broken. I can say I have found "my own Calcutta" it can be as close as down the street or even on the phone you do not have to relocate far to share the love of God. You can walk down the street and share His love with the man on the corner or your neighbor, just that simple.
Rosita and family

Epefanio and family

These are two new families that Father God has led us to. Rosita and her husband care for all four of their children along with a nephew and they live in a borrowed house and care for livestock. A Lot of people ask me what will these people do if you stop helping them. It is not a question of what they will do, most of them are working it is that the wage is so low that it does not cover the needs. So we are here to "help" with critical needs like food and clothing but most of all the Love of Jesus. Because we know that with Him all things will work out, He will provide for them. We are here to show them Jesus. Jesus said to Mother Teresa, "they do not love me because they do not know me." We are here on this planet to show non-believers the Love of Jesus. Like they say we may be the only "Jesus that they will ever see." Epefanio and his family live down the way from us and he lost his leg due to complications with an accident and a diabetes diagnosis. The family makes a living by recycling and he is still able to help but the load is heavy they have three children.I was blessed and honored to attend a women's retreat here in Cerro Azul. They had two guest speakers one of the ladies was here from Texas and the other young lady came from the south in Mexico. Both of them were wonderful, it was a two day event and they had amazing worship with flags. I must say I have missed flags!! There are some church's down here that do use flags but it is a different approach then the states it is more like a choreographed  dance with the flags then a free expression both are beautiful just different. I had a great time, thank you to all who were involved with this time of refreshing for the women here in Cerro Azul and Tecate.

Paula Friedrichsen did make it here safe and we had such a wonderful time with her. She shared at two churches and one rehab center. It was our first experience at bringing a guest speaker. I would like to thank all of those involved that made this event happen. We held an evening service at the church "Jehovah es mi Pastor" and we were also able to bless the group with a meal, homemade tamales. We also shared hot dogs with the guys at the rehab center and also Paula shared a message with "the Journey church" in Polvorin. We meet a new couple first time here, Shawn and Shelby and we bonded immediately. Shelby is such an angel, I have been praying for someone to help Ron with admin stuff back in Bishop and I believe Shelby is the answer. Thank you Lord for always supplying our needs, the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.( Psalm 23:1 NIV ) I love this version of this scripture, it is from the bilingual bible. When we trust in the Lord for all things He will always provide. I believe we must speak the truth before we see it and He will use our words to fulfill it. We can not look in the natural we must use the eyes of our heart to see.

Jehova es mi Pastor

We have held two more youth outreach's since the last time I shared a blog with all of you. We served hot dogs at one and nachos at the last one. Sonia and Pastora Maria and the ladies and youth from "Jehovah es mi Pastor" helped both the times. The first outreach was the story of Jesus and the last one was "fishers of men" and Fernando held a puppet show. Nicole and Fernando are a couple that are moving here from Mexicali and they are going to get involved with the ministry so my desire to have a team down here is coming true along with the church of "Jehovah es mi Pastor" we have joined together to serve the community and beyond.

We love when groups come down it is such a huge blessing to all of us. We are now being asked to hold prayer meetings and share our testimonies with more churches so the Lord placed in my heart to create a team down here so that we can meet the needs, and that desire is coming true. The Lord not only gives you the desires of your heart but He places His desires in your heart so that you begin to think that they are yours, but they are really His!! Yay God!!
Lots going on, I am headed to Bishop and then Bakersfield, in July. The Lord told me to get back to my roots and that is what Bakersfield is, where it all began. I am super excited to see friends in both places. We have two groups coming in August, Pastor Mike is coming from Church on the Mountain and a group from Arizona is also coming the following weekend. A while back the Lord told me to focus on the groups but at that time the groups were limited but now things are changing. I look forward to the next blog update and to seeing some more of your smiling faces down here in Baja California. Love and blessings now and always.
