Amazing Grace

John 13:34 The Passion Translation (TPT)

34 “So I give you now a new[a] commandment: Love each other just as much as I have loved you.

Greetings children of God!! May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing. God has asked us to love each other just as much as He is loving us. Unconditional love, which for most of us is a challenge. It is easy to look at each others flaws, imperfections, mistakes and even sins.

Matthew 7:3-5 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and yet fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own?[a] How could you say to your friend, ‘Let me show you where you’re wrong,’ when you’re guilty of even more? You’re being hypercritical and a hypocrite! First acknowledge your own ‘blind spots’ and deal with them, and then you’ll be capable of dealing with the ‘blind spot’ of your friend.[b]

Well that is hard to hear for most of us but I feel that if we could begin to look past the flaws of others and do what God has asked us to do the Holy Spirit would begin to correct and modify people's attitudes and behaviors. We are asked to love. That is it, plain and simple. It does not say love if you agree with their behavior or love if you like that person or love if they are nice to you it says LOVE. What is love? God is love, we are in a continual process to be transformed into the image of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. We can show others the Jesus in us!! We are the example to the lost and fallen world. The hopeless, the drug addicts, the lonely the sad all of those who have nothing to live for can find hope. We bring them the hope, we give them what they need and it is Jesus. WE must love the unloved, be patient and kind to those who are in sin and most of all to those who do not know Jesus.
Matthew 9:10-13 TPT
10 Later, Jesus went to Matthew’s home to share a meal with him. Many other tax collectors and outcasts of society were invited to eat with Jesus and his disciples.
11 When those known as the Pharisees saw what was happening, they were indignant, and they kept asking Jesus’ disciples, “Why would your Master dine with such lowlifes?”
12 When Jesus overheard this, he spoke up and said, “Healthy people don’t need to see a doctor, but the sick[f] will go for treatment.” 13 Then he added, “Now you should go and study the meaning of the verse:
I want you to show mercy, not just offer me a sacrifice.[g]
For I have come to invite the outcasts of society and sinners, not those who think they are already on the right path.”[h

Can I get an Amen!! So here we are serving in Mexico and bringing hope, love, joy and peace along with much more not to forget the part about eternal salvation!! To many who are lost, sure they have seen "religion" but have they seen the Love of God in us overflowing from the living water that all of us carry inside. I challenge you to look past the flaws of others and see the beauty that the Lord has placed in all of us. Believers and non-believers we were all made in the image of God! Whether people believe it or not it does not change the truth. We are asked to LOVE!!
So speaking of love we hosted an amazing group from Arizona and we were all blessed so much by all of them that came to visit us here in Mexico. If all goes as planned some of us will see you in Phoenix next month.

We thank all of you who have donated towards this project. This is the beginning of a great adventure for us and for you!! The Lord has great plans for this land and we declare and decree in the name of Jesus that many who see this will be saved. Our vision is one of a community center type of building where we can begin to unite 28 churches we have in our area into a common place where we can all gather, leaving our denominations and differences at the door. Come to unite and celebrate Jesus!! A place to also help those in need in the community. The vision is not complete yet we are waiting on the Lord to reveal His great purpose for this land. We do know that we desire to have dorms for visiting teams from all over the world!!
We and when I say "we" I mean "team Mexico" that is what I call our team down here. The Lord has blessed us with an AMAZING team of people right here in Mexico to carry out His plans for this area. We love it when teams from the US come down but we are not dependent on them to serve our community they are an added bonus and a blessing when they do come.

On December 15th we had our Christmas celebration. This is the second year "To Mexico with Love" has invited multiple churches to attend. Last year along with the help of our brothers and sisters in Christ from Jehovah es mi Pastor we had a beautiful event with 9 churches. But we served them, they where our guests.  This year we rented a large warehouse and invited 16 churches and asked all of them to participate in some way. Four of the churches participated in the actual event and all of the churches brought food or drink to be served to the people and many helped to serve the food. We had 400 tamales along with rice and beans plus tortillas. I thank everyone who came down and all that donated. We had 200 blankets to hand out and everyone that attended got a gift. Gloves and beanies for adults and gift bags for the children. Our focus was JESUS not the gifts. Our focus should always be Jesus not seeking Him for his presents but for HIS PRESENCE!! It was a beautiful event. Groups came from Fernley Nevada and Bishop California. Yay God!!

Last  but not least Frank and I were blessed with a new car!! I had been praying for a different car one that would be easier and more productive for myself and for the ministry. The Lord with the help of Yvette and Ruben our brother and sister in Christ blessed us with a new car. Thank you so much for this generous donation to the ministry (and me) it is greatly appreciated.

Love and blessings to all who read this blog! The Lord has not yet given me a full view of this year but when I was in prayer I did hear that I would come to Bishop for a whole month this year. Allowing me to visit four different churches and all of the people that I desired to visit. Not sure of the details yet. Please pray for us down here as we are living out the desires God has placed in our hearts to serve the people of Mexico.

Thank you for your prayers and support,
Frank and Deborah "to Mexico with Love"
