He has Risen :)

Greetings children of God! Happy to bring you another mini blog update :) so much good stuff going on down here that I've decided to do these on the blog page so other people can access them also.

Easter weekend has been amazing down here. Our English class turned into a pre Easter celebration. We had a craft left over from our friend Dee from Oregon and Rain had eggs to fill with candy so we had an egg hunt along with our class. I was also blessed to be able to share the true meaning of Easter with the kids. Alfonso made a cake also to celebrate Angel's birthday.  We had 13 youth in total.

Update on Alfonso he just recently celebrated 7 months clean and sober. We also have Martin here as a volunteer who has 4 years clean and sober. Jesus Roberto left the program with 9 months clean and sober to go live and with his family down south in Mexico. He is working and staying in touch with us and enjoying his family.

We attended the 6am sunrise Easter service this morning at Pastor Robert's church here in Cerro Azul.

We will be having a youth event on April 29th which is Day of the child here (actually the day before). We will hold the event again on the ministry property. We will also be having the traditional Australian sausage sizzle along with games and pinatas for kids. Yay!!

Love and Blessings to all. Thank you to all who pray for and support us.

Sausage (snag) sizzle

 Greetings children of God!

We were super blessed this weekend.

We hosted a team from Bishop Susan, Wes and Margie. Also Dee and Ron from Oregon stopped in on their way back up from their church mission trip. We have an amazing friend from Australia who gave us the idea of a traditional Australian sausage sizzle which is a wonderful sausage on white bread with tomato sauce (we used ketchup) with grilled onions. We had a community event on the ministry property here in Cerro Azul. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and we introduced this new ministry tradition to our community.  Fun, fun, fun 🎉

Our dear friend Dee brought crafts for the youth so before the event we had our English class/youth group and Dee with the help of Alfonso translating did multiple crafts with the kids.

We had such a great time. Showing the love of Jesus through action. Each and every moment is an opportunity to show the world Jesus. Preach the gospel use words if necessary.

Sunday we went to our ministry home church down here they call it a mission. It is in east Tijuana about 40 minutes from us. Pastor Miqueas and his wife and two girls run the mission. We were all tuned into the Presence of the Lord and we were all blessed.

Last but not least we headed to the landfill. We had 175 PB&J sandwiches that we made on Saturday and water bottles and lots of prayer. Many people accepted prayer. Alfonso was reunited with his dog that he left there last September.

Thank you to team Mexico for all of your hard work and dedication to helping the lost and shining with the Love of Jesus to all you encounter. Thank you to the visitors from the states who we love and appreciate and always look forward to seeing. God is love 💞🙏
