Greetings and God's love to all! Here is an update on the house in Cerro Azul that Amor built for this family of nine. A team from Escondido came down yesterday and put in all electrical wiring and made walls for this family. God put them in our path early this year and with His help and direction we were able to communicate their need. God is always faithful and we are here to serve Him. He allows us to be His hands and feet and this family is one of the most humble and grateful families that I have met. Special thanks to the team from Escondido that did the finishing touches for them.
Frank and I were married on June the 27th at Rancho San Juan Bosco and took two weeks off to have our honeymoon. As soon as we got back changes began to take place in our lives. We were notified that the orphanage was over staffed and they were unable to find him a position. Frank is now out in Cerro Azul full time and I have cut back my days to three a week there. I am out here the rest of the days. We had planned to be at the orphanage for an extended time period, but the Lord had different plans for us. Our ministry out here has already taken off. I am now involved with dispensing of food baskets to needy families on a weekly basis. The Lord has provided food for us to dispense to those in need. We make house calls to whom ever the Lord "highlights" to us and we pray for their needs and bring hope and encouragement to them on a weekly basis. Also providing transportation to and from appointments for those in need. The Lord has placed on my heart to open a transitional housing program for those in need of placement leaving the "orphanages" in this area. We are in the praying/planning process at this point.
