Greetings children of God!! So happy to share the school update with all of you!
When I first came to Mexico in 2014 and volunteered at the orphanage in Tecate I had an idea to be able to help the youth there to further their educations. Lots of groups from the states would come down and visit the orphanage and the youth were always so excited about their future and talking about where they would attend college and their hopes and dreams for the future. I wanted the youth at the orphanage to have hopes and dreams for their futures also. Unfortunately that dream never happened there. But now the school program in our area here in Cerro Azul has really taken off. The dream is happening now and God's timing is always perfect. Papa Ron has been helping youth with their school needs since the beginning. Backpacks, uniforms etc. also helping with tuition on a smaller scale. Now that the kids we work with are growing older they are having fees attached to their education. Education is free here up until high school, but they still have to pay for uniforms and backpacks and school supplies. We have multiple youth in high school now and also college. We help them to find sponsors so they can further their education. I want to say "thank you" to all of the people who have donated for the youth this school year.
We have some youth that have already graduated and are living their lives with their new careers. We believe Jesus and education are the way to help break the cycle of poverty lots of these youth are coming out of. We are so blessed to be able to help in this way. I'm going to introduce you to all of the youth we are working with this school year. Blessings now and always :)

These youth are our future! We started working with the kids in 2020 during the COVID shut down. The schools and churches were shut down and our team at the time had pretty much dissolved due to fear. So the Lord told me to start an English class outside of our home each week. So that is what we did the kids were much smaller then and the Lord said to me "that is your team" I started to laugh because they were so little. But there is no junior Holy Spirit it is the same Holy Spirit in all of us. So now these youth are an active part of team Mexico. We are so blessed by all of the amazing people God has placed in our lives on both sides of the border. Thank you to all of you for your prayers and support.
