Trust in the Lord

29 “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek [f]the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.
32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  Luke 12:29-34

Greetings children on God! Thanks to all of your generous donations the ministry was able to hand out 120 backpacks filled with school supplies this school season. We also were able to bless several students with help for the new school year, uniforms, help with tuition and for some help with bus money to get to and from school. The three girls below are new this year to the school program.

We have four returning students from last year that we were also blessed to be able to continue helping with school tuition and all of this is possible only because of the Body of Christ who is continuing to sow into the lives of these young people. Without your donations none of this would be possible. We place our trust in the Lord and have faith that He will answer our prayer requests to bless these young people with an education to help end the cycle of poverty in this region.

Frank and I were blessed to help Hosanna church celebrate their one year anniversary and the fruit of their labor with eleven new baptisms. When we first went to the church it was an empty shell that had been deserted and the Lord gave vision to Roberto and Lety (the new Pastors) and He brought this church back to life.
The words of the prophet Ezekiel:
So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the [a]breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and [b]breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army   Ezekiel 37:7-10

Romans 15:13 New King James Version (NKJV)

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes we can not look at our natural circumstances and continue with hope in the natural things could look hopeless.  We must seek the Lord and remember His promises and continue on from there. If we stay near to Him and keep our focus on Him and not our surroundings we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Many of you already know that we have begun a ministry in the landfill here. It is the same landfill that the Lord delivered my husband from ten years ago. Many of the same people are still there and we believe that the Lord is using us to bring hope to this dry and weary place.

Psalm 113:7-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
He raises the poor out of the dust,
And lifts the needy out of the ash heap,
That He may seat him with princes—
With the princes of His people.

The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful team of people down here in Mexico to help with these outreaches. An amazing group who are on fire for the Lord and have a desire to help the lost and the needy. We are all lost and needy without Jesus as our Savior.

We continue with the feeding program in Valle de las Palmas but we have moved the location to Pastor Juan's church - Mision  familiar  de Valle.  Which is very close to where we previously were feeding the kids. We are working with a group of believers in the area they prepare food for kids before school five days a week and also deliver food the elderly in their homes once a day. The Lord has blessed us with this opportunity to help the people in this community. Brother Jose is the lead person in charge along with Sister Myra and a few other hard working helpers.

We have many events coming up that we could use prayer for:

September 21st and 22nd a youth revival here in Cerro Azul, four churches are involved with this event. We have great expectations of what the Lord is doing in our region especially with the young people. Ron will be coming down on September 22nd so he will be able to participate in this event. Papa Ron has been sowing into this community for over 30 years. We are excited to see the fruit. Yay God!!

October 18th to October 21st we will be  hosting a group from Bakersfield. The Lord told me two years ago to get back to my roots. I really did not want to go back to Bakersfield because I had some horrible memories of the place  when I was caught up in addiction. The Lord spoke to me saying       " remember who you were before then". I was born and raised in Bakersfield but all of my family has passed away who lived there. But the Lord reconnected me with friends from elementary and high school and it is just like family. It has been an amazing experience to be reunited with these friends. The Lord  led us to City Serve through my friends Roger and Valarie Wenrich. We have made some connections that have led us up to this event that we will be having at the landfill on October the 20th. City Serve will be donating camping supplies for the homeless community that live at the landfill. We had to raise money to pay the taxes to import the donations. So please pray for us to get a donataria status so that in the future we will not have to pay import fees on donated items. We so look forward to this event and meeting new people from my home town. Please pray that this event has a huge impact on the lives of those who are blessed by these donations. We want them to taste and see that the Lord is good. That He does see them and that they are not forgotten. He will provide for them on a daily basis if they will seek Him first and there is hope and a future and a way out even in our darkest days.

December 15th we will be having a Christmas celebration but this year it will be a different format. We will be renting a neutral building and inviting ten different churches to attend, Each church will bring a food or drink item and they will be asked to participate in some way with the service or clean up or set up or decoration or serving of the food. It will be the first year that we have attempted something like this in our area. Last year we had eight different churches come together but the ministry and the church "Jehovah es mi Pastor" put on the event. This year we are excited about the body of Christ working together as one to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Please pray for this event.

I will be in Bishop at the end of this month and in Sacramento area the first part of November so please pray for safe travels for me also.

Love and blessings to all of you who this blog reaches. Thank you for your prayers and support.
